Abstract

The study attempts to present an abnormality in the Romanian system of expertise.
I will pass in review the normative documents that regulate the medical-legal expert’s
activity and those that organize the activity of the judicial expert in medicine, ascertaining a
different way of approaching the two kinds of expertise, especially the criminal one, by the
bodies with judicial responsibilities. In the end, there are solutions advanced with a view to
normalizing the situation.
