Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • If submitting to any section of the journal, the instructions in ensuring a Double Blind Review have been followed.

    1. I am authorized by my co-authors to enter into these arrangements. We understand that this journal respect the principles of, the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Concurrent/Duplicate Submission/Plagiarism

    This journal is guided by the principles of, the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

    Antiplagiarism. All submitted manuscripts will be scanned for identification of similarities and will be analized by editors for plagiarism prevention. The software used by AIJJS is Sistemantiplagiat.ro

    Papers are accepted for double anonymous review with the understanding that the same work has been neither submitted to, nor published in, another journal or conference. If it is determined that a paper has already appeared in anything more than a conference proceeding, or appears in or will appear in any other publication before the editorial process at AIJJS is completed, the paper will be  REJECTED.

  • Double blind review process 
    During the double anonymous review stage, the anonymized paper will be sent by the executive editor to 2 members of the Editorial Board, who will have about 2 weeks to send their anonymized reviewer form to the executive editor, accordingly. Reviewers are usually selected given their expertise in the field of the paper. Author(s) will be then advised with the reviewer observations and will have about 2 weeks time to resend the final version of the paper.
  • The acceptance timeframe includes a period prior to 2 months before the publication deadline (30th June for the 1st issue, 31th December for the 2nd issue), so we encourage authors to submit the paper well in advance. As an editorial policy, we accept a maximum of 2 papers for the same (co)-author(s), given the fact that one paper has the specific of Juridical Sciences section and the other paper has the specific of Administrative Sciences section or Master Students section. 
  • The paper's format:
  1.  Word.doc and pdf. electronic format
  2.   Language of publication: English
  3.   Admitted number of pages: 6-14 pages.
  4.   Paper: A4
  5.   Front: TNR 12, spacing at 1 row
  6.  APA style is used for in-text citations and bibliographic formatting.

           The papers that do not meet the above requirements will not be admitted into the review process.
