Abstract

This article examines the legal and policy frameworks that support innovation across European jurisdictions, employing a comparative approach to identify common strategies, divergences, and best practices. Through analysis of intellectual property regimes, research and development incentives, and regulatory frameworks, we demonstrate how different European states balance innovation promotion with broader policy objectives. Our findings suggest that while harmonization efforts exist within the EU framework, significant variations persist in implementation and effectiveness. This comparative analysis provides insights for policymakers seeking to optimize innovation support mechanisms.
