About the Journal

Agora International Journal of Economical Sciences (AIJES) is published yearly, beginning with 2007, and includes studies that are structured on the following scientific fields: General Economics, Management, Marketing, Tourism, Accountancy, Finance.  AIJES is currently indexed in the following international scientific databases: CEEOL, DOAJ, Index Copernicus, ScipioAIJES is ranked Category B+ in CNCSIS2011

Agora International Journal of Economical Sciences is recognized by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the Academic and Research System (ANVUR), in category A, field 13 - Economic sciences.

Agora International Journal of Economical Sciences is an open access, peer-reviewed journal, publishing researches in all fields of business and economics. It is published by the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Agora University of Oradea and (starting 2023 issue) Ljubljana School of Business, Slovenia.

The mission of the journal is to publish high quality research papers in business and economics, including empirically oriented papers, review papers, theoretical contributions, to facilitate the dissemination of research results among scholars and researchers, to contribute to advancing and improving the practice, and to promote the research results of young researchers.

The Journal is published exclusively in English. Until 2022, it has published one regular issue per year, in December, but starting 2023 it publishes two issues per year, one in June and one in December. Articles published are double-blind peer-reviewed and there are accepted contributions from the following categories: theoretical and methodological studies, original research papers, case studies, research notes, book reviews.

Agora International Journal of Economical Sciences adopts the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License, under which the public is granted the permission to use the licensed material under specified terms and conditions. The texts contained on this site can be shared (copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format) and adapted (remixing, transforming, and building upon the material), as long as the license terms are followed. The license grants only permissions under copyright and certain other rights that a licensor has authority to grant. Use of the licensed material may be restricted for other reasons, including because others have copyright or other rights in the material. There are no fees for article publishing in Agora International Journal of Economical Sciences.
