Security is that which ensures the well-being and the protection of the individual, as well
as everything that is related to the human being: food, economy, education, environment, etc.
Fighting crime as a way of providing the security of mankind “must take into account the respect
for human rights”. All modern human communities have come to understand the need to
intensify concerns in order to extinguish states of conflict since their early phase. Therefore, the
attention of policy makers and analysts in each human settlement turns increasingly toward
those events, processes and phenomena that can give rise to dangerous contradictions, trying to
discover, examine, master them, constantly keeping them under control.
