9/10, 2024, Agora University of Oradea has the honour to award, at the proposal of the Faculty of Economic Science, the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to an important representative of the sociology of law and deviance. Prof. Giovanna Palermo of Political Science Department, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Naples.
At present, she is associate professor, qualified as full professor Sociology of politics, law and deviance - Sociology of law and deviance. She is Director of 1st Level Master Degree in Criminology, Criminal Psychopathology and Social Security Policies (from 2016) at University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, where she teaches Criminology and Sociology of deviance (from 2008).
She is responsible for the criminological area as well as General Secretary of the Cuam University Foundation (formerly Cuam University Consortium for Africa and the Mediterranean), scientifically promoted by the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli (Second University of Naples - SUN) .
