Students and professors of Agora University had an exchange of cultural and academic experience at the University of Sakarya, Turkey.
Between January 17-29, 2022, the first Erasmus Intensive Program event took place within the project “Beyond the Limits: Developing Entrepreneurship via Creativity in Schools”, in which Agora University participates as a partner.
The first week of the event hosted online courses, taught by teachers and researchers from partner universities. Agora University was represented by assistant univ. dr. Dan Petrica, member of the project implementation team.
The second week of the event hosted face-to-face lectures on the campus of Sakarya University in Serdivan, Turkey. Representatives of Agora University of Oradea: assistant univ. dr. Felix-Angel Popescu (project coordinator) and students: Ionuț-Raul Lucan, Georgiana-Maria Trifa, Nora-Andrea Kor, Alina-Florina Tărău, Ramona-Alexandra Iova, Patricia-Emanuela Karancsi, from the Local Police specialization, participated in the program activities, which consisted of courses and workshops on creativity, as well as cultural presentations of the countries of origin from which the other project partners came: University of Monfort (United Kingdom), University of Coimbra (Portugal) , University of Padua (Italy), University of Granada (Spain), University of Liepaja (Latvia) and host of meetings, University of Sakarya (Turkey).
A special component of the program was the cultural visit to Istanbul, the capital of Turkey, an event in which Romanian, British, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Latvian and Turkish students were able to better understand the Erasmus student experience.
On this occasion, the Erasmus office of the Agora University would like to thank all the participants for their involvement in this project, hoping that this experience will be useful for the purpose of the lifelong learning.
