Extracts from the University Charta concerning quality assurance
Art. 6. University autonomy is administered by:
1) establishing institutional structures and strategies, organizing, carrying out and improving continuously the quality of educational process and scientific research;
2) elaboration of regulations in relation to the establishment and pursuit of teaching, scientific research and administrative activity;
3) academic programs setting cycles, educational plans, organization of education in accordance with the requirements of a modern, efficient and competitive educational process;
4) election and appointment, according to its own criteria, the leading staff at all levels;
5) selection and promotion of teaching, auxiliary, scientific research, technical, administrative and other staff categories;
6) awarding scientific and didactic titles, according to legal provisions and grants of this Charta;
7) issuing study documents for graduates;
8) direction and organization of the scientific research;
9) development of cooperation and international exchanges;
10) editing and printing of courses, textbooks, magazines, etc.
11) regulation of the conduct of members of the University community;
12) setting internal standards and quality indicators;
Art. 8. (1) the University acts for the formation of a culture of quality, promoting and ensuring quality standards in the fields of education and scientific research.
(2) Periodically, the University assesses the way of quality standards and indicators of performance are fulfilled.
Art. 76. Undergraduate programs.
(4) For each undergraduate cycle the Senate approves a regulation in accordance with national and international standards of quality.
Art. 96. To this Charta, under the Senate approval and with the notification of the Administration Council the following regulations are integrative:
(1) the Rules of organization and functioning of the Agora University (UAO);
(2) the Code of Ethics and Professional Ethics of Agora University;
(3) the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Agora University Senate;
(4) the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the Administration Council of the UAO;
(5) the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the Operative Academic Council of UAO;
(6) the Regulation for granting honorific titles;
(7) the Methodology of organization and conduct of elections for the structures and functions of management within the UAO;
(8) the Methodology for the organization and carrying out of the competition for admission to undergraduate studies and a master's degree;
(9) the Methodology for the organization and the conduct of examinations for completion of undergraduate studies and a master's degree;
(10) the Methodology concerning the employment of the teaching and research within the UAO;
(11) the Regulation on the employment of auxiliary teaching and nondidactic staff in UAO;
(12) the Regulation on the system of evaluation, monitoring and quality assurance;
(13) the Regulation on the European Credit Transfer System;
(14) the Regulation on the professional activity of UAO students;
(15) the Regulation for granting scholarships to UAO students;
(16) the Regulation of the activity of informing, counselling and career guidance;
(17) the Alumni Department Regulation;
(18) the Regulation on the organization, operation and financing of scientific research;
(19) the Rules of organization and conduct of undergraduate studies;
