Invitation from China: 2016 Discover SWUFE

Letter from China:

Dear Partners,

We wish you all a happy and prosperous new year for 2016!

It is with great pleasure that we once again welcome you and your students to participate in our annual Discover SWUFE Summer Camp for International students. This year’s camp will take place between July 3rd-16th 2016 in Chengdu, China! In 2016 the Discover SWUFE organizing committee is proud to celebrate its 5th year anniversary and to celebrate the remarkable successes it has experienced in its brief history.

Over the last few years, Discover SWUFE has established a reputation for itself by providing a unique opportunity for international students to learn more about Chengdu, and foster a deep understanding of the local historical, cultural, business and economic environments of modern China. In 2016 we have made several important refinements to the camp, complementing rich cultural exchange experiences with a targeted program of focused academic content. Students will be evaluated and certificated based on their contributions and performance within the academic, helping recognize the importance of the academic exchange within their own personal academic development.

The theme for the 2016 camp center on the topic of the “belt and road” international economic development initiatives put forward by Chinese president Mr. Xi Jinping. These initiatives reaffirm China’s support and concerted efforts to promote connectivity in trade and economic development between the Asian, European and African continents and further beyond. Strengthening collaboration along the belt and road regions will help tap into market potential, promote investment and consumption, create job opportunities, and enhance cultural exchange.

Why to join our CAMP?

  • A 10 day program immersing students in Chinese culture, academia, and business.
